Because the court was icy
A lob or smash or slicey
Would make the prospect dicey
A fracture would be pricey!
I didn’t want to risk it
Though not inclined to miss it
Although it would be grand there
I didn’t want to stand there.
A slip upon the grass
Might mean an injured ass-et.
So to put it more concisely
